Basemark's new project has begun, and the first step is to update a vintage stool owned by the designer to BASEMARK specifications.
Based on a Finnish wooden stool that is loved all over the world
BASEMARK's original textiles are expressed using a printing technique developed in-house.
This is a masterpiece made with love, with the brand doing everything from painting to the final finishing touches.
1. About the stool structure: The legs can be removed using the screws on the underside of the seat.
This product is based on a vintage (second-hand) item, so please be careful when handling it.
2. How to use the stool: Place the stool horizontally on a safe, flat surface. Do not place it on slippery floors, stairs, verandas, or other places where there is a risk of falling.
This may cause distortion or lead to damage or injury due to falling.
- If left in direct sunlight or in a location where it is exposed to heat from an air conditioner or heater for a long period of time, the wood may discolor or deform, and the upholstery may fade.
If you are installing the unit in a location exposed to sunlight, use curtains or other means to soften the sunlight.
- If you have a wooden floor or tatami mat, the surface may be scratched. To prevent this, please use protective material such as felt on the bottom of the legs.
3. Prohibited actions for safety reasons: Do not use this product as a step stool or stand on it. This may cause you to fall or the product may break, resulting in injury.
・For safety reasons, do not use damaged or deformed parts.
・The three-legged chair can be unstable, so do not sit on the edge of the seat. This may cause the chair to tip over, break, or cause injury.
・Do not cover the product with vinyl or other materials for long periods of time, or apply adhesive tape or stickers to it. This may cause deformation or discoloration or peeling of the material.
- Please be careful of the sheet rubbing or getting caught on rough or sharp surfaces.
・Do not handle roughly or let children play with it. It may be damaged or cause injury.
4. Maintenance [Legs]
- For normal stains, wipe with a damp cloth that has been wrung out thoroughly, then wipe dry with a soft cloth.
・Check the screws on the legs from time to time to make sure they are not loose. If any are loose, immediately retighten them with a screwdriver.
[About the seat]
・If left wet, the color may transfer or fade. If rubbed, the color may transfer to light-colored items (especially white).
If the product gets wet with sweat or rain, it will be more likely to transfer color, so immediately wipe it with a dry cloth and dry it.
